Lytix is transforming the way we navigate, analyze and visualize financial networks.
Lytix was founded in 2006 with a very clear goal: to build a map of the financial world. This objective has been clear in our minds as we have prototyped, iterated and scaled our technology and system, and worked with partners and customers in the development of Lytix Maps.
We set out to provide a single framework for generating a quick and clear understanding of relevant relationships between and inside of financial market players. We have tackled many of the inherent limitations of existing solutions, including fragmented views, inconsistent data and limited analytics. Throughout our work, we have strived to build a tool that is clean, powerful and easy to use.
Lytix Maps is the result of this work. It is based on an entirely new paradigm that models corporate connections as a network – not as a traditional hierarchy – and uses a single analytical framework that combines cutting-edge technologies from graph theory, semantic web, distributed computing and information visualization with financial and legal domain expertise.
